TEN DAYS PROGRAM THE CANAL AREA AND WESTERN HIGLAND

Day 1- Arrival and tranfer to Hotel Executive or similar.

Day 2- All day birding in PIPELINE ROAD, overnight at Hotel Executive or similar.

Day 3- In the morning, birding in Old Gamboa Road. In the afternoon birding in Plantation Road, overnigth at Hotel Executive or similar.

Day 4- Early morning flight to David, transfer to Hotel Cerro Punta, birding at the western highlands.

Day 5- All day birding for higland birds atl 8000 ft over Boquete trail. Overnight at Hotel Cerro Punta.

Day 6- In the morning birding around la Laguna de Volcan, looking for foothill birds. In the afternoon, transfer to Rancho Ecologico Palo Seco.

Day 7- All day birding in Palo Seco Park and Fortuna Forest Reserve. Overnight at Rancho Ecologico Palo Seco.

Day 8- This day is optinal. 1- Go to Swan Key out of the island of Bocas del Roro. 2- Hike the trails for rare birds like Umbrella bird, Sunbitterns, trogons etc. Overnight at Rancho Palo Seco.

Day 9- Birding in Bocas del Toro lowlands an in the afternoon transfer to David airport for a flight back to Panama city. Overnight at Executive Hotel on similar.

Day 10- Transfer to the airport for you flight back home.

INCLUDES: All ground transportation and internal flights, all meals, hotel accommodations, specialized bilingual guides.
