FOURTEEN DAYS BIRDING PROGRAM IN CANAL AREA, DARIEN, AND THE WESTERN HIGHLANDS (CHIRIQUI AND BOCAS DEL TORO).

Day 1- Arrival and transfer to the Executive Hotel or similar.

Day 2- All day birding in Pipeland Road. Overnight at the Executive Hotel or similar.

Day 3- All day birding in Old Gamboa Road and drive to Colon. Overnight at Cierra Llorona Cabins.

Day 4- All day birding in Achiote Road. Overnight at Cierra Llorona Cabins.

Day 5- province. Birding around camp for the rest of the day. Overnight at Darien Egoro Lodge.

Day 6- After breakfast ride a piragua up the Tuira River to Embera indian village. Overnight in tents.

Day 7- According with the physical conditions of the participants we could try for the Harpy Eagle. Overnight at Darien Egoro Lodge.

Day 8- Fly back to Panama City and transfer flight to David, Chiriqui. In the afternoon we will drive up to the highlands. Overnight at hotel Cerro Punta.

Day 9- All day birding in Cerro Punta highlands. Overnight at hotel Cerro Punta.

Day 10- In the morning birding in La Laguna de Volcan, in the afternoon drive to Rancho Ecologico Palo Seco, birding along the way. Overnight at Rancho Palo Seco.

Day 11- All day birding in Palo Seco and Fortuna Forest Reserve. Overnight at Rancho Palo Seco.

Day 12- In the morning birding in Bocas del Toro lowlands. In the afternoon flight back to Panama city and transfer to Cerro Azul. Overnight at Casa de Campo.

Day 13- All day birding in Cerro Jefe. Overnight at Casa de Campo.

Day 14- After breakfast, drive back to Tocumen airport for your flight back home.

INCLUDES: All ground transportation and internal flights, hotel accommodations, meals, specialized bilingual guides.
