ECO-CANAL EXPEDITION
Depending on navigation time, this trip is projected to take eight hours, leaving the city very early. It's recommended that you wear sunglasses, light clothing and insect repellant. The Eco-Canal Expedition, as its name implies, gives you the length of the Panama Canal, Gatun Lake and the Chagres River. The trip begins on the waterway, between Soberania National Park (only 25 kilometers from Panama City) and The Americas Interoceanic National Park (12.8 kilometers from the city). The principal objective for both parks is to protect and conserve the forest wildlife there. This trip will take the visitor into the habitats of birds, turtles, monkeys, caymen and many other species. The participants will visit an Embera Indian Comunity, and following this, there will be a barbecue with tropical drinks and after a brief rest, the group will visit the Las Cruces Trail, the route that was used for aboat 300 years, especially by colonial-era Spaniards who moved gold and silver treasures from Panama La Vieja to Portobelo. DURATION: Full Day WHAT TO BRING: Sunscreen, ligth clothing, a hat insect repellent. INCLUDES: Transportation, Bar-B-Q lunch with tropical fruit. MINIMUM: 4 PAX. |
