Cerro Punta is a mountainous area and an agricultural center, famous for its flowers and vegetables, horse farms, dairies and coffee plantations. The indigenous Ngobes?Panama's second-best known tribe after the Kunas?areto be found in this area. You will get to see the women and children in their colorful typical garb, The women are known for the chaquiras?wide multi-colored collars?on their dresses. Ngobe men and women are also known for their chacaras, bags woven of natural fibers and colored with plant dyes.

We will go on to visit various area plantations to appreciate the development process that every coffee grower must oversee before the prized product is ready for export to the United States or Europe. One detai l that you won't want to miss is the Swiss country-style lunch that you will enjoy in this Panamanian paradise with the alpine look.
