STARLITE TRAVEL POLICIES, REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITES HOW TO BOOK: Reservations for any of the services can be made by telephone, facsimile, email, or letter directed to: STARLITE TRAVEL P.H. Also excluded are exit taxes and expenses of a personal nature such as laundry, liquor, soft drinks, telephone calls, etc. TOURS CONDUCTORS: Tour conductors rate upon request. FOREIGN LANGUAGES TOUR GUIDES: Service of a French, German or Italian speaking guide, can be arranged upon request. Regular tour guide service is provided in English / Spanish. SPECIAL SERVICES: We will gladly quote other services for individuals and groups. Special arrangements can be made for hospitality desks at hotels, dine-around plans, group briefings, technical visits, special interest tours, etc. Full details available upon request. PAYMENT: A deposit of US $50.00 per person is to be made upon receipt of confirmation. Full payment must reach us 30 days prior to the commencement of the tour. We reserve the right to collect directly from group members if payment has not been received. Payment should be sent via courier to STARLITE prior to the arrival of the passengers. CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS: If a cancellation is received in writing 21 days prior to the arrival, full refund, less expenses incurred will be made. Cancellations received within 21 days are assessed a 20% cancellation charge. "No shows" will be subject to a 100% cancellation fee based on the cost of the tour. All refunds will be paid to the customers' home agency unless we are instructed otherwise. ALTERATIONS: A fee of US$10.00 will be assessed for each change requested after the after the original c onfirmation has been issued. Any changes requested after commencement of the tour will be subject to cancellation fees assessed by the hotels, in addition to the above handling fee. DOCUMENTATION: Prior to arrival in Panama, every client must verify that his documents are in order, and must have obtained a tourist card or visa if required. Visas are available only at Panama Consulates abroad. Tourist cards are available to citizens of some countries at airport ticket counters at point of embarkation to Panama. RESPONSIBILITY: The responsibility of Starlite as the operator is limited. It acts only as agent for the passengers in regard to travel whether by railroad, motorcoach, private car, boat, aircraft or any other conveyance, and assumes no liability for injury, amage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity which may be caused either by reasons or defect, through the acts of God, dangers, perils of the sea, fire, breakdown in machinery or equipment, acts of governments or other authorities, de jure of de facto, wars, whether declared or not, hostilities, civil disturbances, strikes, riots, theft, pilferage, epidemics, quarantines medical or customs regulations or from any causes beyond Starlite control, or from any loss or damage resulting from improper passports, visas or other documents. Starlite will not accept responsibility for loss or additional expenses due to delay by changes in schedule or other causes. The right is reserved to decline to accept or retain any passenger should such person's health or general deportment impede the operation of the services to the detriment of other passengers. A complete refund covering the unfurnished part of the land tour will be made to such individuals as soon as possible. Starlite reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any itinerary as may be deemed necessary for the carrying out of the tour either before departure or enroute, or withdraw of any tour. Baggage is transported at owner's risk and baggage insurance coverage is recommended. The issuance of tickets and vouchers shall be deemed to be inagreement with the above conditions. The airlines concerned are not to be held responsible for any act committed or event which may occur prior to boarding the aircraft or other means of transportation conveyances. The passages contract in use by the airlines concerned, once issued, shall constitute the sole contract between the airline and the purchaser of the tours and/or the passengers.
